Our menu is a mix of great pub classics, lighter bites, sharing platters and sandwiches. Sunday roasts a speciality. Fantastic puddings, pies and vegetarian options are also available, as well as a children’s menu. All our food is freshly prepared by our talented chef and his team using quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible.
Food served all day, seven days a week. Kitchen hours: 12-8pm (12-9pm on Saturdays and 12-7pm on Sundays).
We pride ourselves on the quality and range of our traditional cask ales, lagers and ciders and are regularly listed in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and The Good Pub Guide. We were delighted to win CAMRA Pub of The Season recently in the High Peak, Tameside and North East Cheshire region. Look out for our hoppy house ales Kinder Falldown, brewed specially for us by Happy Valley Brewery in Bollington, and Twenty Trees by Howard Town Brewery in Glossop. Thwaites Original and Wainwright are also regulars on the pumps with other guest ales, such as Dark Star Hophead and Brakspear’s Oxford Gold, appearing from all over the country.
Also available is a good selection of fine wines, spirits, soft drinks, teas and freshly ground coffees.
