Delicious pub classics and Sunday roasts a speciality!
We serve a range of great pub classics plus some interesting seasonal alternatives, which change regularly. There are the eternal favourites such as fish and chips, pies, burgers and scampi but do not miss the specials! Recent dishes have included Wood Pigeon pan-fried with black pudding, apple puree and Pancetta crisp; Seafood Linguini; Oxcheek Curry; and Wild Mushroom, Beetroot and Goat’s Cheese Medley with toasted hazelnuts and fondant potato. Vegan options are also available on the menu.
Our Sunday roasts have a great reputation with a choice of four meat roasts (you can have a slice of each!), as well as a vegetarian roast option. Perfect after a day in the hills!
A selection of homemade desserts completes your dining experience with treats such as Chocolate Brownie with Raspberry Sorbet, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream or how about a traditional Derbyshire pud, Bakewell Tart? Yummy! Hot and cold Sandwich Menu and Children’s Menu available too.
Our bespoke two- and three-course Festive Season Menu is available throughout December until Christmas Eve for lunches and dinners. Perfect for celebrating Christmas with work colleagues, walking and cycling groups, family and friends. Groups of all sizes up to 100 catered for.
